Saturday, May 11, 2014 (Mother's Day, a day early!)~

Dear Maman~

It's that time of year again, that special day where families honor the mothers (and grandmothers, aunts, or great grandmothers) in their lives.

Well, since you're our maman, we are writing to you, to let you know just how much you are loved (and appreciated).  Thank you for being you; if it were not for you, we wouldn't even have the love or family you have given to us so lovingly over the years.  Our lives could have been far different, but because God pressed upon your heart about kids who were in need of a home or a family to call their own, you took in kids nobody else wanted and as a result, we became an instant family.

Being your children hasn't been without its problems, but more often than not, it's been fun, a big, never-ending adventure.  We got to travel across the United States of America (and see places like Canada, Mexico, England, and Australia), meet many famous celebrities (people like Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, the former president of the United States, George W. Bush, Jr. [and his daddy, George Bush, Sr.], Michael Jackson, and others), and got to go to many exciting festivals and attractions.  We got to do things most people don't, and it's because of your determination and love, to get "our stories" out there.  If it were not for you, Maman, many people wouldn't have even known aobut us.

I only hope that God blesses you as much as He's blessed us over the years.  We pray nothing but the very best that life has to offer, and we all pray that you and Daddy have many happy, wonderful, long years together.  If there's anybody who deserves to be happy, it's YOU, Maman!

We only hope that we can give back and do half of what you've done for us.  That is our wish on this Mother's Day, today, and always.

So, on that note, Happy Mother's Day, Maman!  We love you to the moon and back, and we wouldn't have it any other way!
