My name is Morgana Cunningham.  I live in Bristol, Georgia, with my husband, Maverick (Rick) and our daughter, Anastaysia Hope, whom we adopted as a baby from Russia.  She is six years old now and is the light of our lives.

Anastaysia has special needs.  She was born with shortened limbs and deformed fingers and toes.  Yet nothing seems to stop her; she does just about anything a normal child does, except she does it in her own unique, special way.  She is smart, funny, engaging, extremely outgoing, and doesn't know a stranger.

We were overwhelmed at first with her physical needs, but she's shown us what true courage and determination is about.  What she has accomplished has been nothing short of amazing; she is truly a miracle, and when she was placed into our arms, it was like Christmas, our birthdays, the Fourth of July, and Thanksgiving all rolled up into one.

Ana has brought us such joy and hope we are in the process of adopting a second child, this time a little boy, age three, who waits in China.  Little Hudson (as we will call him) has severe clefting of the face and is about to undergo surgery to fix it.  He is still a beautiful little boy, and we can't wait until we get the okay from the Chinese adoption authorities that the adoption has been approved. 

The waiting is the hardest part. 

We have been waiting now for four months; we still probably have at least five or more months to go.  It's extremely maddening and annoying; we have been on our faces in prayer that the adoption is approved, so we can have our son.

Until then, we have Ana to keep us entertained.  Yet the ache for Hudson still remains.  Just say some prayers that the adoption is approved; we would greatly appreciate it!  Thanks in advance!
