Gabrielo "Bust-A-Move" Bustamente from Nashville, Tennessee, updates us on what is going on with him and his life.

May 2014, Nashville, Tennessee~

Yo, yo, yo, homies!  It's your b-boy friend, Gabrielo "Bust-A-Move" Bustamente, writing! What's shakin'?  Hope all is goin' down well for y'all!

Hard to believe, but I'm outta high school and getting ready to go to college in the fall.  Am going to go to Texas A & M.  Gonna major in theatre and dance, and minoring in English and Journalism.  It's nice, not havin' to worry 'bout scheules or tryin' to get to classes on time; been relaxin' and maxin' with my family and my homies.

I'm workin' now; workin' at Utopia, which is a music store.  Been workin' there for about a year and a half; love it!  Don't make much dough, but hey: it pays the bills, and once I get to Texas, get a place, have my feet planted on firm ground in college and find a better job, then life will be excellente por me y mi familia!

Don't dance nearly as much as I used to, but if the mood strikes, me and my homies will get together and have a dance-off, just to blow off some steam if we're agitated or annoyed in any way, and we also hang out at church on Sundays and spend time together during the week when I'm not working.  Life is grand; I couldn't ask for more.

I may have some surgery on my feet; they're turning inwards and I can't tell you how many times I've tripped myself.  It's a wonder I haven't busted anything, but I sure have bruised or cut myself more than I'd like to admit: even had to get stitches in my noggin after I clonked my head on the corner of the living room table.  Bled everywhere like a stuck pig; scared the hell outta my family, especially Mami.

The surgery hasn't been scheduled yet; that's still in the planning stages, but right now, I'm not gonna worry 'bout that: too busy enjoyin' life.

If I didn't have arthrogryposis, I'd join the military, but since my body's  messed up, I can't go in, so I might as well go to college and try to find a job in my chosen field, or if not, find a job in which I enjoy doing.  Anything to help out the family.  I love my family so much and would do anything possible for them (my homies, the same thing).

Well, that's about it for now.  Sorry, gotta run, but have to be at work by noon; it's now 20 minutes till 12:00.  Besides, my ride is here; hear Artie honkin' outside my door!  Bye; see y'all later!

Will write again soon; take care and God bless!

~Gabrielo.  :)

Creative. Would like to see him dance in a video. Could be a YouTube sensation if he wasn't fiction. Going to Texas A&M sounds like he's got his head on straight.
