It is hard to believe, but it is now that Holy Time of year,
That time of year that signals that Christmas is nearly here.

Time of decorated Christmas trees and lights bright,
Time to hear the songs of Jesus and that "O Holy Night".

Time to hear jingling sleigh bells, and shopping at stores;
Trying to find the "perfect" gift, cards, and so much more.

Christmas is nearly here, you can't deny it, as it is true ;
But Christmas comes on fast, as holidays so often do.

Christmas may mean presents, but it is much more than that..
Christmas wouldn't be here if it was not for Jesus, THAT'S a fact!

He was born here on Earth because of men and their sins;
And God knew of His Son's Birth, and the Peace He had within.

He was born, so He could set all of us free from sin's evil touch;
And because He died for our sins, our freedom means so much!

THIS is why we celebrate Christmas..because of Jesus' Birth;
And since then he's bestowed MANY blessings upon our Earth!

Sure, our world may have problems, but Jesus is still here,
And as long as He is, then we shouldn't be scared or have fear!

So let's lift our voices in song, sing Praises to Our Precious King;
He is the Reason for the Season, so let those church bells RING!!

*~*~*JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE CHRISTMAS SEASON!!*~*~*
