Light to Dark:

while I stand in Blazing Energy
fascinated by your opaqueness;

Tumultuous Destinies
entwined;

you do not recognize me

you Silent Night.

I take your hand;
you cringe
singed by Light's Touch;
to you I am Threat
you prefer
your Dark
because to emerge
from it
would be the Delicious Death

exposed
unseenness
now a futile triumph
your contrast
to me blinding;
while I seem to myself ephemeral
lacking substance
contrasted with you
whose Dark Thickness
seems grave.

Cast me here your invisible hand
I shall light it
even as I savor it's gravitas
its forbidden natures
because I Light
could not exist
without you
your constant contrast
where between we two
Meaning is Created.
Opposites attract?
Or more,
no Yin
without Yang.

What good Light
without the Dark
and mysterious
and who would

Light be
without first passage through
Your Dark
to the other side?

We kiss
you and I
each eventide
Twilight
our tryst
before
separating once each day
I awaiting the sun;
you succor the moon
each of us
separated into our granular natures now
each hoping
for the other one
to reach
back
when another
Twilight
comes;
opposite hearts
 consuming.
