This is what I want for the New Year; I want to share it with you;
And I hope what YOU want for the New Year will come true !

For starters, I want to regain my health and my dignity;
I want people to treat me normally despite my disabilities.

Secondly, I want terrorism to stop its evil, ugly ways,
And I want our nation to spend time with God and pray.

I want all this fighting and hatred to stop, learn to get along;
Despite our differences, we ALL have a right to belong!

I also want cures to be found for diseases like AIDS or MD,
Would love to see Johnny walk again, so happy and free!

I want the poor to get the help and chance that they deserve;
And if I could, I'd go to the Air Force, and my country, I'd serve!

Or I would be a nurse like mommy, help the sick or the dying;
Try to bring them hope and happiness without ever really trying!

I would like to see families learn to love each other,
And not being ashamed of their parents, sisters, or brothers.

I would like to see kids have it safe, without fear,
And I would rather see them happy than in tears.

I would like to see the bad people punished, serve their time;
And I would love to see the end of all this violence and crime.

I would like to see Osama, Saddam, and the other terrorists caught;
And see that they are punished for all the terror and fear they wrought.

I would love to see our country safe and sound,
And God's blessings onto us be bestowed all around!!

And sis, I want all of these things too. I feel for countries that have inncoent people in them that are in Harm's Way. Maybe we should have one country where the men who are power hungry, fight each other and leave the rest of the world alone. Then the people who were in that country would be accepted elsewhere, because then with all the idiot men gone, we could atually live, and be happy. (Giggles).
