We were living in a large gothic style house on the island of Hawaii.  I was alone ine house after my friends and my son all left for a Halloween party. I turned on the tv for some company but all I could find was scary halloween shows.  I was terrified by myself in that big house.  Two young trick or treaters knocked on my door and they frightened me even more.  It turned out that it was my son and his friend.  They had changed costumes so that I wouldn't recognize them.  I begged them to stay home with me but they refused.  They did offer for me to go with them if I agreed to wear a costume.  I cut up a sheet and became a ghost and went out trick or treating with them.
