Author sassy long writes about her later life and the story is about her finding a new home, new friends, and being sued and nearly killed by the father of the boy who, ran off a road and. Wait! You just have to read it to learn more!

Standing on a cut out next to a county road she stared out over a small valley. It wasn't a beautiful view, but it was a dream view to Sassy Long.

Sighing, she felt a wind blow through her hair and smiled. She'd looked for "her place" for a longtime. This place felt right. It was probably thirty feet off the road and about that on down. Maybe it was ten acres, probably five or six tho. A read read -for sale. No name or number. No realtor listing. Just a plain store bought for sale sign.

"Well now! Land of my dreams! How do I find out who is selling you?"

"You don't! He'll find you if he wants to!

Startled, she gasped and placed a hand to her breast. "Oh!"

The man behind her Wore a sour look, like he'd bitten into a persimmon. They stared at each other a minute.

"You know the owner",she croaked, finally.

"Of course I do! Why do you want it?"

Looking back at the small valley she sighed. "Who wouldn't want it? It's beautiful, peacefull, and no neighbors to throw wild and loud parties!"

   "Be pretty secluded!" He scoffed.

"That's what I always dreamed of!"

nice view.   "Tell me about it."
