Youth of today labored with the love of yesterday in order to pay tribute and honor a genius from their past.
As the paddle fans rumble through their endless motion, everyone became distracted. People began to gather on the red-carpeted floor, meeting and talking within the walls of past spirits. With the slow-setting sun, only sharp rays penetrated through the stained glass of faith.
With the sounds replacing those ever-lapping fans, people gathered in friendly spirit to become entertained by their very young, our youth of today that will become the future of many days to come. Upon the edifice of what stood in front, a small array of chairs and musical stands were being arranged by a master plan. During all this activity, the crowds gathered and continued their conversations and slowly settled into those, lines after lines, of wooded rows of benches that were designated for many masses.
Like clockwork, applause rang out as a small quartet of young people with instruments, in hand, eagerly bowed and settled onto the stage up front. A new quiet settled over the general population as the paddle fans rumbled their ever-lasting momentum. A brief intro was quickly replaced by ancient but masterful sounds of the past, gaining knowledge only what the great masters had worked so hard to accomplish.

It paid tribute to a master and they only learned to appreciate by the sounds and feelings passed on by some insight of notes and symbols of life past. With the ever changing program, many sounds returned in a living memory of their masters. While outside this hollowed building, winds of gust tried their best to be heard. Only once during a very somber tune, the winds gained a gift as they whisked through the opened windows.
These sounds, though only brief, filled in what became real and in tune of what would never be again. No one knew what effect this created. A new high lifted itself upward to the heavens and became blended into life’s real joy. Everyone had become a master of the great minds that directed those who cared to be students. Life and spirit of song are immortal. It is special that everybody listened and understood the few that interpret what was once understood by many. It was like a night from the past and blended in with the day of music on high and it is life called today.
Hallelujah! There are some places where young people in each generation learn classic music and pass it on to the next generation.
It is interesting that many of the great hymns were originally bawdy tavern songs that were cleaned up by adding church approved lyrics to the melodies.
