My name is Sun-Hee. I am four years old, and I am blind.
I was born this way; and I have never been able to see well. I was born in Korea.
When I was a baby, I came to America to be adoted (adopted, she meant), and I have surgery on my eyes to see if I could be able to see. It work, but not as well as it should. I am still blind. I can see only shadows and light; but nothing else.
Because of my being blind, I have a cane to use; it help me get around. I walk, but I use my cane to help me find my way around things. I also have books on tape, and I am learning to read and write in Braille. It isn't easy, but it IS fun!
Despite my being blind, I am a happy little girl. I love to go to pre-k, and I love to listen to my books and to the tv. I also love to dance, and I love to play with my brothers and sisters. I have a BUNCH of brothers and sisters! :)
Well, this is it for now. Can't think of too much more to write. I am only a little girl of 4; I'm not too good at writting! :( Gonna' play now. BYE!!
