The debate has gone on for years about which pet/animal is smarter, the cat or dog.Recent statistics relating to the subject states that a dog has more neurons in its brain than does a cat, hence the dog is the smarter of the two.The same statistics state that the raccoon has even more neurons, hence smarter than a dog.
There goes the premise of my book titled Mischief, who is a bright, energetic, pet raccoon.This is a story for young adults on the level of a twelve year old, filled with youthful discovery for a young girl from the city, the forming of friendships, dealing with family dynamics, and the world surrounding things of nature.
Ron, a raccoon can and has been trained as a pet. They are clever critters. They have been known to pick the locks on their cages, and the antics in my book are true to the animal's character.
I didn't find a story to read here. Just a pitch for this book, which I guess is a story like most books.
