STOLEN PROPERTY

RESURRECTION CHRONICLES

 Chapter 8

Early one Sunday Pastor Esther decided to get to the church earlier than usual. Driving into the parking lot she saw Caleb’s car and began to wonder why was he there so early? She thought that he probably wanted to get some things in order for the youth and especially for Tirzah’s three grandsons that were coming. Caleb was always thoughtful like that.

As she entered into the building from the side door, which was her entrance, she could see a large golden like angel standing in the foyer right in front of the doors to the sanctuary. The ceilings of the building were very high, at least twenty feet and he was just standing there looking at the door. Walking down the hall, Pastor Esther went towards the sanctuary door and looked in through the glass before she went in. She saw Caleb at the altar and a host of angels circled around him. Coming closer as she walked down the aisle she saw a hand pouring oil on his head and she knew immediately that it was Jesus and fell on her knees. Looking down with her face in the carpet, she saw footprints coming toward her and then His touch. The next thing she remembered was that Caleb, Rebecca and Rachel were picking her up off of the carpet. They helped her down the aisle out of the sanctuary to her office. Sitting in her chair, she motioned at Caleb.

“Caleb, I don’t think that I will be able to minister today,” said Pastor Esther. “I need you to do it for me. Are you ok with that?”

“Yes ma’am,” replied Caleb looking at Pastor Esther as if he knew.

“Pastor Esther are you sure?” asked Rebecca.

“Yes, I am sure and you are too, right Caleb,” replied Pastor Esther as she observed Caleb’s reactions.

“Yes, I know and I understand,” said Caleb. “Mom, can I have a minute with Pastor Esther before service starts.

Rebecca nodded her head yes and opened the door to leave, but looked back at Caleb and smiled before leaving the room. Rebecca knew that there was something special that was beginning in the life of her son this day. ‘This is it,’ she said to herself. ‘This is the beginning of God’s plan.’ As she was walking down the hall, she saw her sister Rachel and ran up to her, hugged her and whispered in her ear what was happening. They began to praise the Lord right there in the foyer. Marlene and Henry were entering the building and saw them. Henry just smiled, but Marlene hurried over to them.

“I know that something is going on,” said Marlene. “So spill it.”

‘Marlene, I tell you,” replied Henry.

“What Henry?” asked Marlene looking back at him with a wide eye expression.

“Well, did you say good morning?”

“No, but they know that they had better tell me what’s going on.

Rebecca and Rachel just stood there and looked at Henry and Marlene laughing. Those two were something else when they got started. It was like they were in a constant exchange of words. Rebecca and Rachel looked from one to the other, heads going from the right to the left and began to laugh.

“Ok, stop it you two,” said Rachel. “We have to get ready for the service.”

“Yeah and people don’t need to see you two cutting up,” replied Rebecca smiling.

“She needs to go to the altar,” said Henry.

“We all need to go,” replied Marlene.

“Well, let’s go,” said Rebecca.

“Ok,” said Henry.

“Wait just a minute,” said Marlene with her hands on her hips. “You still haven’t told us what is going on. I bet you thought that I forgot about it.”

“No, I know that you didn’t,” replied Rebecca with a chuckle.

“Well, what is it?” asked Marlene looking over her glasses. “Don’t keep us in suspense.”

“You mean don’t keep you in suspense,” replied Henry.

“Hush henry, you keep interrupting,” said Marlene. “Well, go on, I’m waiting.”

“Ok, Ok,” replied Rebecca. “Caleb is preaching today.”

“That’s wonderful,” said Henry. “I’m going to the altar to pray for him before service.”

“Let’s all go,” said Marlene. “Our baby is getting ready to go places.”

Caleb sat down in the chair in front of Pastor Esther’s desk and waiting for her to speak. There was a stillness in the silence. He was waiting for her to speak and she was waiting for him to speak. Looking at each other, all of a sudden they each began to laugh. The laughter went on for about fifteen minutes. The joy of the Lord had taken over in the room.

“Caleb, what is so funny?” asked Pastor Esther.

“It was the look on your face as we both were waiting for each other to say something,” replied Caleb.

“That was funny, wasn’t it? Well, is there anything that you need to tell me?”

“Pastor Esther, while I was at the altar, I felt a hand on my head and I knew that it was Jesus. Then I felt the oil on the place where His hand was.”

“I know, I saw His hand and then I saw His feet as I was on my face.”

“There is one thing that I do know and it is about the triplets and Miss Tirzah’s grandsons.”

“Okay, I ‘m listening.”

“Well, it is about the prophecy that you spoke over us.”

“Go on.”

“First we have to have the ark made for us to carry whenever we begin to travel. But before that we need to go through at least three days of prayer and consecration before we can go anywhere.”

“I am in agreement with that. So, we will be praying about who God will send to build the ark.”

“Yes ma’am. Have you ever heard anything about a Bezaleel anointing?”

“He was the one who built the ark according to the specifications that God gave Moses. The Bible states in Exodus that he was skilled in all manner of workmanship because God filled him with His spirit for this.”

“That is who have to find to do this because of the assignment we are being entrusted to complete.”

“Is there anything that I need to know?”

“Just keep us in prayer and we know that God will reveal more to you than we know.”

“Well are you ready to preach this morning?”

“Yes ma’am, just like you knew that I would be doing this today and I didn’t even have a clue.”

Caleb got up and smiled as he hugged Pastor Esther tightly. He had much love for her and she had for him. And he was correct in stating that she knew that he would be preaching today. But the truth is she only found out when she was down on the floor and Jesus walked towards her. Everything about the journey was not only amazing, but wonderful to experience. Little did they know that this day would be the beginning an outpouring of a major move of God.

Walking down the hall to the sanctuary, Caleb began to feel the Holy Spirit moving in him. Opening the door to the sanctuary, he felt a wind. As he walked down the aisle behind Pastor Esther, it was as if he was walking in her shadow, but he felt an increase of the wind. The moment that he put his foot on the altar, there was a burning in his chest and his hands. In fact he felt a fiery heat on his ears and he knew that they had to turn red because of the intensity of what he was experiencing.

Caleb sit down next to Pastor Esther on the pulpit trying to prepare himself for what was next. His mind was flooded with thoughts of what he was going to preach. He did not have a clue and this was his first sermon and it had to be right. He kept asking the Lord within himself what he was going to say. As he sat there nothing came to his mind.

Pastor Esther was at podium telling the congregation that today was going to be different and she could feel it in her spirit but most importantly Caleb was going to be bringing the word. She introduced him and turned to hug him when he stood up. The moment that she hugged him, Caleb heard in his spirit ‘it’s all about me. Call my people to the altar.’

Caleb began his message by telling the people that he had no idea that this would be happening and that he thought he was not prepared. But the Holy Spirit spoke to him when he hugged Pastor Esther and said ‘it’s all about me and to call His people to the altar.’ He told that the most import person in their lives should be Jesus and their relationship with them.

Pastor Esther sat and watched as Caleb delivered the Word. Each word was like a polished shaft in the atmosphere aimed with precision to hit the bullseye of the heart of the people. The she heard ‘he is My marksmen and special forces.’ Caleb continued to speak and she could see shockwaves in the spirit as he spoke. Listening intently to the Lord and Caleb at the same time, suddenly she heard another sound and saw a different wave, but a funnel opening in the spirit. Pastor Esther looking around the sanctuary and kept hearing, ‘Oh Glory’ over and over and then she saw where it was coming from, a man sitting on the last row. She motioned to Henry to bring him forward to the front and sit him near the altar.

Meanwhile, Caleb was calling people to the altar. He was calling them to Jesus for salvation and deliverance. Pastor Esther looked and only the youth were moving. She had no idea that there were that many visitors and especially the youth. Most of them were teenagers and they were coming to the altar. It started as one of two, but then the trickle turned into a stream. Before they knew the altar was filled with about one hundred. Caleb looked back at her as to ask what to do next. Pastor Esther just nodded her head for him to go on.

Caleb came off of the pulpit and called for the triplets and Tirzah’s grandsons to come to the altar.  He had them to stand in a row of three each, side by side as if they were carrying something. Then he had the youth that had just received Jesus to walk through the row.  As they walked through some received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues. Others fell under the power of the Holy Spirit and the ushers had to move quickly because they began to pile up. Many had to be helped back to their seats.

Pastor Esther looked at the man that was continually saying ‘Oh Glory’ and came down off the pulpit and motioned Henry to bring him to her. She did not know who he was but there was something very, very unique about him and his voice.

“Sir, I do not know who you are and how you came here today,” said Pastor Esther. “But every time you open your mouth to say ‘Oh Glory’ there is like a shockwave that goes through the spirit. And it is very thunderous and it shakes. In fact it is a shaking. How did you come to be here today?”

“I saw the glory cloud over the building and I knew that I needed to stop in here.”

“I understand,” replied Pastor Esther. “What is your name?”

“They call me B.E. because my real name is Barnabas Elijah.”

“O.K., New and Old Testament.”

Caleb came and stood by Pastor Esther to listen as she was talking to B.E. Then he whispered something to Pastor Esther. She looked at him with a puzzled look on her face.

“B.E., do you have time to meet with us in my office after service?” asked Pastor Esther.

“No problem,” replied B.E.

As the service continued and concluded, Pastor Esther was just marveled at the timing of the Lord and how was bringing His people together for the Kingdom. She was still wondering about this B.E. guy and why Caleb wanted to talk to him after service. Whatever she thought was a mystery was about to be revealed.
