     It's a family recipe...
Uncle Tom's Burgers, written by Sandie May Joyce (a.k.a Sandie Angel). Please scroll down to read my story.

“Yum, yum! What do you put in these burgers, Tom? They are super delicious!” asked Whiny Ted.

Whiny Ted acquired his nickname because he would always whine as soon as he had a few drinks. He recently became a frequent patron of Uncle Tom's Burgers because, in addition to selling burgers, Uncle Tom's Burgers also holds a liquor license.

“Oh! That's a secret recipe in my family! I can't tell anyone,” answered Tom – a chubby guy with a round chin. He stood about 5' 10” and quite muscular. If you didn't know him, you'd think he should have been a wrestler or a boxer. But who cares? He is now prospering in a burger field of dreams anyway, making big bucks everyday! His restaurant and bar is full of patrons and there's hardly any seats vacant at any given time of the day.

“Well, I love it! Whatever you've put in the meat is fine with me! I can eat this everyday!"

“Hey! I haven't seen Auntie Nelly in an entire week! Where is she? Have you seen her?”

“Nope!” Answered Tom. He remembered Auntie Nelly quite well. She had the loveliest smile, heavenly blue eyes, and rosy cheeks, and the bounciest most voluptuous breasts. He had taken her home two weeks ago.

“I aint't seen her for two weeks already. The last time I saw her was the time I took her home with me. Oh! She let me eat her. Oh boy! Did she ever taste good!” Tom said with a wicked smile. He looked at Whiny Ted and gave him a wink.

“No, you didn't! Did you? Really?” Whiny Ted looked at Uncle Tom with curious bulging bloodshot eyes, wondering what Auntie Nelly would see in a guy like him.

Ted... well... he's rather handsome, actually. He has dark hair, bright hazel brown eyes, and the cutest mustache. On his sober days, he could even be mistaken for a movie star, but as soon as he had a few drinks he would turn into another person completely. It would be nice if he could stay sober all the time.

Ted and Nelly seemed to have hit it off quite well the first time they sat side by side on those bar stools. Both were single, and neither one of them had a care in the world. They chatted, laughed, and giggled all through that evening.

“Oh yes, I did! And she tasted really good!” Tom said, nodding his head to emphasize his statement, still basking in his glory.

“Okay, then! Where is she? Why hasn't she come back here? For two weeks already I have not seen her here! What happened? Did you scare my Nelly, you dirty old man? You're old enough to be her father!”

“Hey! What kind of talk is this? Auntie Nelly isn't anyone's Nelly, she is a single woman, free to do whatever she wants to do. She can go out with anyone she damn well please!” Tom has had enough of Whiny Ted now. Whenever Ted gets that way it is a sign to stop serving him any more liquor for the rest of the evening.

“Oh, well! I did have a taste of her anyway!”

Whiny Ted continued on eating his burger, deep into his own thoughts.

“Hey, another shot of whiskey please?”

“Okay, Ted, my friend! This is the last shot for the evening, okay? No more after this!”

“But your burger tastes good with the whiskey, Tom! I really love it!”

I think Whiny Ted has better watch his step, or else....

Somehow I do not think that Tom's hamburgers would pass the "Kosher" test. But, of course "Aunt Nelly's last name could have been "Goldberg." Very tasty story my friend.

Great story! You always write with your tongue-in-cheek style that connects with your readers. I can envision Uncle Tom and Ted while they were having the conversation, and what they look like. I felt like I was there too. Great job! Continue with the story and don't stop writing!

I'm not sure how Tom can be muscular and tall, and fat at the same time. Especially if he eats hamburgers all the time. I'm with Eva. Taken literally, Tom believes that he has one over his drunken customer, Ted. After all, aren't young females the sweetest meat?

Wow! This should be on something like "The Twilight Zone", dear Sandie!
You have really got the knack of building horror and mystery in your stories. I was waiting for someone to pull out a knuckle or something. Sandie! You really brought this one to the top!

Love ya!
