Sometimes disputes occur between people, organizations, factions, and nations. We hope and pray as we wait for due diligence, thoroughness, and fairness, as uncertainty prevails and Truth is revealed. Sometimes it takes much patience as we wait for such revelations to be sorted out and manifest. However, at such times, it is prudent and important to seek impartial Truth with every fiber of our being—even when it is inconvenient, in opposition to, and disruptive of, popular opinion.
Regardless of the outcome of the pursuit of Truth, it is necessary for people of good will and conscience to stand up for, and peacefully accept, what is good and right and true without violence or judgement of opposition—even while popular opinion may say otherwise. For the destiny and trust of all people concerned, affected, and involved, may very well be at stake.
“Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.”
Romans 14:13
We need to always embrace the Truth when it is revealed, through fortitude in prayer, and impartiality in the pursuit of freedom. For scripture tells us to transcend our own opinions and failings, but rather, to accept and revel in the lawful outcome of seeking Truth in all its forms. Subsequently, the fruit of the Spirit: “Against such things there is no law,” will rise to the top of our life-experience. Our ultimate goal must be to embrace and live out the fruit of the Holy Spirit of Jesus, that is ours as believers as we press on, regardless of the outcome:
22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control.
Against such things there is no law.”
Galatians 5:22-24
To establish Truth, we need to shine a bright light in and on the darkness in our midst, lest it distract, derail, overwhelm, and overtake us. We need to pray for integrity, discernment, and enlightenment for those in high positions of leadership that pursue truth on our behalf; that they will lead justly through completion of that required due diligence. For only after one shines a discerning Light on any confusing or controversial circumstance, can the Truth be made known.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33

Prayer for Truth, Light & Peace
Dear Heavenly Father,
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we ask you for an outpouring of truth and Light for our leaders as they seek You for resolution. Please bring a peaceful, prayerful outcome to any untruths or disparity revealed. Bring clarity and peace to Your people, and people all across this fine country. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we welcome You in to be at the center of our mayhem and disparity. Calm the turbulent waters, as You make known Your Will and the Truth is revealed. Please look with favor on Your people, Lord, people of The Light. Guide us, comfort us, protect us, and bring us the peace that only You can provide. Please unite Your people, quell our fears and prevent any violence that may occur as a result of efforts to uncover truth in Your Holy Name. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help us in our quest for Your Truth and peace.
