When It All Comes Crashing Down

Disaster broke out when a fight started and turned into a melee when a party for the “girl next door, song bird” Alicia Reynolds, wife of star Baltimore Clippers 2nd baseman Rick Randolph got into a fight at the American Oasis Casino Hotel, along with a seedy crowd that she was hanging out with leading to extensive damage to the room the party was held in. Presumably there was alcohol and drug use involved. When the security officers came in to restore order, Alicia Reynolds started swinging and punching at them leading to the uncontrollable mayhem, she threw up and then passed out. When she came too, her and several of the other party goers were arrested and handcuffed and taken to jail where they were booked for inciting a riot, not to mention all of the damage that they had caused. Her “Girl Next Door’ reputation was now severely tarnished.

When Rick Randolph received word of the incident, he had no comment for the inquiring reporters. Also when word came out about her involvement in the melee and resulting fight, country music radio stations stopped playing her latest hit song “My Very Special Friend” that was headed to being her 7th straight #1 single and ruined any possibility of her being selected the top female country singer award for the 4th time in her singing career.
