When It All Came Crashing Down

Having finished an intersquad spring training game, Rick Randolph was with the rest of the team, showering and dressing in the clubhouse locker room.

The players had the TV on, some of the players were watching the America News Cable Network Channel.

All of a sudden catcher Paul West hollered out to Rick Randolph that he had to come listen to the news story.

Coming over the TV, the news reporter was detailing the verdict of Alicia Reynold’s trial for her and the 3 accomplices for their involvement in the American Oasis Casino Hotel riot. The 3 accomplices with Alicia were each given 2 month jail sentences, Alicia was given a 2 month jail sentence, then a 2 month sentence in a halfway house stay, followed by a one year at home sentence where she would have to wear an ankle monitor, and would be paroled a year later if she did not violate her sentence.

Rick thought that it was odd that Alicia was given the harsher sentence and Paul West said to him, “sounds to me like she was the ringleader of the group”, Paul West continued by saying “wonder if she can comply with the halfway house and then after she’s released, she’s not allowed to leave the house for a year”.

Rick replied, “I wonder if she is going to stay at her house or if she’s going to be under the watch eye’s at her parent’s house. Well, I agree with you Paul, have to wonder if she will be able to comply”.

Then Rick said to Paul, “have to wonder if she will be able to comply, but then she’s not my concern or my problem anymore, she’s on her own, I do not even think at this point that her parents can help her much at this point”.
