 PIT: The Fields 10: Marsha

Points In Time

Topanga, California

Sunday, March 11, 1986

1:10 p.m.

“Mitchell, you’re a nice guy and I like you, but I’m married! Why would you think that I’d... ‘Forget it’!”

Reaching into a gym bag, removing a pair of shorts, pushing her feet through. Standing, Lita pulled the shorts over her hips, then hastily, a loose fitting top.

Watching, “Lita, I didn’t...”

Jamming her feet into sandals,…

“Thanks for a ‘really’ lovely morning!”

Women have always been a mystery to me.

Standing nude among the field of nude people.

Embarrassed because those nearby were looking, I watched as Lita hurried from the fields of Elysium, and my life.

Feeling depressed at Lita’s hasty departure and figuratively kicking myself I n the ass already, looking across the field I spotted the place I’d parked my self yesterday and saw two people sitting in the shade of the tree.

Hoping it was Ken and Sandy, grabbing my pannier — that, as we’d been sitting on Lita’s blanket, I’d never opened that still contained a large beach towel and my white bagged ‘corned beef on rye’ that I’d purchased earlier this morning, I headed to the communal shower area where there was a soda dispenser, then cut diagonally across the field.

Coming closer I realized that the two beneath the tree were not Ken and Sandy.

Nodding, “Hi!” to the naked older than middle-aged couple sitting cross -legged on either side of a backgammon board .

The woman, facing in my direction was very thin and extremely wrinkled, had long thin hanging tits and stringy, naturally blonde hair…

‘Naturally’ blonde hair?

Here at Elysium it’s usually pretty easy to tell.

The man, who’s back was to me, was fat and bald and extremely hairy.

Receiving a half-hearted, “Hi” from the hairy bald man, I spread the beach towel a number of feet away on the other side of the tree— which at this time of day was in full sun.

Still kicking myself because of my blown change with Lita, as I bit into the sandwich, looking about the now crowded field I realized that unless there is personal contact most female bodies — from any distance being rather nondescript are not at all sexually attractive… at least they were not to me.

This is not to say that occasionally there is not some exceptionally great looking lady… Case in point, Lita.

Becoming tired of laying in the sun — front and back. And realizing that Ken and Sandy would be ‘no shows’ on this day, I went home.

Woodland Hills, California

2:27 p.m.

“You’re home early.”

Thinking…

Marsha’s mind twisting about the fact that for the first time her husband had left home that morning without a word.

The fact that when immersed within her day by day, night by night sullen silent anger she still had a slim line of control over Mitchell… ‘Hello!’. ‘Goodbye’. ‘You want to go for dinner?’ He’d always say something, but today ‘nothing’!

So after five days of silence...

“You’re home early,”

Huh?

The enjoyment of this day shattered by Lita’s hasty, angry departure from Elysium. Mentally kicking myself in the ass all afternoon and the way home for turning her invitation down.

Also feeling I’d had enough sunshine for one weekend...

Huh? I thought, she’s talking to me again?

The house smelling of fresh baked cake, standing in the kitchen, Marsha was slathering chocolate icing – which she knew I loved – onto the layer cake she’d baked.

“Yeah, I’ve, uh, had enough bike riding this weekend.”

“Good! I’m glad you’re home now because, if you want, I

thought we might catch a move, have a bite to eat out, then come home for desert.”

Knowing his wife and knowing how sexually sweet their ‘make-ups’ usually were after one of her long, angry silences...

First Lita and now Marsha?

She’d been angry at me since last Wednesday I’m sure for something stupid that I’d said; don't even remember what and now chocolate cake and later?

Women had always been a mystery to Mitchell Lipensky.

However one thing about Mitchell Lipensky: Never one to hold a grudge.

10:47 p.m.

After sharing a pizza and seeing ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’.

The chocolate cake held off for later, or possibly even tomorrow...

Their lips parting...

“Mitchie, I love you.”

Wheather Marsha really felt love for her husband, or if it was merely what she felt at the heat of the moment, and what she thought her husband wanted to hear her say…

“Mitchie, I love you.”

Truly though, Marsha Lipensky did ‘not’ know.

Moving from atop to alongside…

Now glad it didn’t go further this afternoon…

“Me, too, honey, I love you, too.”

Mitchell Lipensky truly ‘did’ know.

Laying closely together in the dark room, our ragged breathing returning to normal.

“Mitchie, can I ask you something?”

“Sure, baby.”

Switching the light on her nightstand on.

Turning onto her side, facing me.

“You’re ‘so’ tan!”

Both of us completely nude, tracing her finger from my chest to my now limp dick.

“How come you don’t have any tan lines?”

Taking a moment to think...

Knowing the truth most often the best way to go. Besides…

I’d ‘love’ it if I could get Marsha to come to Elysium with me.

“Marcie, we had a listing in Malibu that the office caravaned

on Friday. We took Topanga to get to P.C.H. and passed this place called ‘Elysium Fields’...” Stopping I waited for Marsha to ask...

“What’s ‘Elysium Fields ?”

“A Nudist camp.”

“I ‘can’t’ believe it!” Sitting up, looking at me. Looking at my body. Looking at my ‘extremely’ tanned body minus ‘any’ tan lines.

“This is where you’ve been all weekend..” she laughed “...a ‘nudist camp’?”

“Yeah...” I said “...It’s ‘beautiful’ there! Marcie! It’s ‘absolutely’ beautiful there! You’ll love it!”

“ ‘Love it’? I ‘won’t’ go!” she said emphatically.

Loving the sense of freedom being of in the open, completely unclothed gave me. Loving being in the open with other people and the utter sense of beauty I found at Elysium.

Knowing this was now a part of my life. Also knowing the will power I displayed with Lita today may not always be the case.

Well knowing how easily I could get into trouble on my own at Elysium.

Truly wanting to be there with my wife! Truly wanting Marsha to see and sense the beauty of Elysium.

“Marcie...” I said “...it’s ‘clothing optional’ and you ‘don’t’ have to get all naked if you don’t want to.”,

“Well, let me tell you, I ‘wouldn’t’ want to!”

Deep down, though, Marsha Lipensky’s little ‘randy’ seed began to blossom and she sensed a re-moistening within her vagina at the thought of seeing naked men… Much as her husband had at the thought of seeing naked women.

Remembering the lady in the bikini bathing suit that, among the many, many nude women there that caught my eye and, weirdly, excited me.

“You don’t have to, honey! How’s about it? Give it a try, please!”

“Lots’a naked men there, huh?” She said, trying to make it sound like a joke. “What if I see a man that appeals to me more than you?”

“I’ve been there two days and seen a hundred naked women and haven’t...” I lied “...seen a woman that’s appealed to me more than you.”

Well, maybe with the exception of Sandy and definitely with Lita.

“Mitchie, I’m fifty years old and have four kids! How can you say you haven’t seen a naked woman that’s appealed to you more than me?”

“You’re still beautiful to me! And when you get there, you’ll see that compared to you, most are just plain women.”

Tickled by his words, “You’re lying!”

“Marcie, I’m not lying!”

Well knowing the various inflections of his wife’s voice, thinking her softening. “Give it a chance, you’ll love it.”

“And I don’t have to get all undressed?”

“No, not at all. Not if you don’t want to.”

“Anyone there that knows us? That we know?

“That ‘knows us’? No! Of course not! Who’d be there that ‘knows us’?”

“Well...” reaching to the lamp, turning it off “...let me think about it.”

Marsha thinks she might know someone who goes to a nudist colony? She does now. In curiosity, if nothing else is starting to grab hold of her. Remembering that overlong flashed at her on the beach. Wondering if there are others out there more interesting to see than Mitchell's familiar one.

I like where the story is leading. I'm looking forward to Marsha's reawakening to her teenage desires. I wonder if Lita will come back into the picture. I miss her already.

Food for thought. I'm also thinking these two deserve each other, and I mean it pejoratively.
