Putting It All Together

Having scheduled a recording session at Frank Aston’s West Gate Recording Studio in the Delaware County community of Havertown, Pennsylvania, Michael Walker and Daniel Gennings arrived, along with Michael’s wife Denise Stanley for a morning recording session of their song “Olivia”. Right after their arrival, Ryan Davies and his wife Kim Mathais walked in.

Ryan Davies and Frank Aston were well acquainted with one another, having worked together on recording projects for a number of years.

Denise Stanley and Kim Mathais both came along for the purpose of providing the background vocals for the song.

Ryan Davies inquired with Michael and Daniel if they were all set after going over all the details of how they want to proceed with the project from their recent conference call. Ryan also asked Michael and Daniel if they had completed a second song, so that when the recording of both songs are completed, that they can release them to the radio markets, so that the 2 songs can be released as a special promotional package 2 song CD and they both grinned and said yes.

Michael pulled the song sheets out of the folder that he brought along with him and handed it to Ryan who looked them over. Ryan once again said to Michael and Daniel, “You got to be kidding me, this can’t get any better for you guys, you will have one number 1 after another for some time to come.

Michael and Daniel looked at one another, then looked at Ryan and busted out laughing, then Michael said, “You said that before when you looked at the sheets for “Olivia” “. Responding to both of them, Ryan said “Well I am saying it again. Now let’s get to work and make it happen”.
