When Hard Work Produces Great Results

It was coming up on the first full fall weekend in October and it was full of promise for Michael Walker and Daniel Gennings.

But what was about to happen would send Michael’s and Daniel’s lives like the launching of rocketship taking off. 

Ryan Davies called both Michael and Daniel on a conference call. Ryan told both of them that he had some very great news for both of them.

Ryan said, “You guys have done it, when the Top 40 Country Music Hits song list is released tomorrow morning, your song “Olivia” will be Number 1, and on the Top 40 Pop Music Hits song list you will be Number 2.

Ryan’s ears were in splitting pain when Michael and Daniel started whooping it up and they started celebrating very loudly.

“Well, didn’t I tell you guys that you would be Number 1”, Ryan trying was say over the loud celebrating. Do you also remember that I also told you guys that “Olivia” would be Number 1 on the Country Top 40 for 4 weeks, well it’s coming to pass, I told you guys that you better be ready and it’s happening”.

Both Michael and Daniel kept saying to Ryan, “Thank you, thank you”. “Well, you guys are doing it, this is for real, and I heard that all the radio stations like your “Adventure” song, so your rocket is taking off”.

While Ryan Davies was thinking about it, he asked both Michael and Daniel how their CD song project was coming along. Michael answered Ryan by saying “It’s coming along rather swimmingly”.

“I will have to drop by and check out the songs, if two of you can start up a vocal duo and end up with a Number 1 song and quite possibly a second one, then the music industry will be expecting more chart toppers from you guys”, as Ryan was making a point with Michael and Daniel>

“We will be looking forward to your visit Ryan”. And with that the conference call came to an end. Michael and Daniel were in total jubilation, celebrating the news that Ryan had just told them.
