Ask, Seek, Find
The secrets to starting anew center squarely on our building a closer relationship with Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. When we pray and ask for His help, Jesus will help us in every practical way imaginable.
“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and He will act.”
Psalm 37:5
Jesus will renew and rejuvenate us, as we do our part and strive to change and live our best life. Whatever it is that is on your heart to change about yourself or your life this day, there is no need to leave it to chance or wait for the ‘perfect time to change.’ For when we seek God, we will find Him, and He will, indeed help us. For scripture tells us:
Jesus said: “When you look for me, you will find me. Yes, when you seek me with all your heart, 14 I will let you find me…and I will change your lot.”
Jeremiah 29:13-14
3 EASY STEPS TO STARTING ANEW
- 1) Ask yourself: “What would I like to change about my life/myself?”
- 2) Give all your burdens and challenges to God.
- 3) Strive to grow in your relationship with Jesus by first accepting the unconditional Love He has reserved especially for you. Look with great anticipation for what He will do next in your life, and believe He will do it.
The Great Miracle Worker
So what can Jesus possibly do to help us to change? The answer there is no limit! There isn’t anything He can’t do! As the opening scripture says: All things are possible with God. But you need to believe it! Jesus is the Great Miracle Worker who stands ready to help us in every way--spiritually, physically, emotionally and mentally, according to His Divine Will.
Jesus is able to lighten our burdens, and bless us with improved health, heal our broken relationships, relieve us of our negativity; and even break and remove old habits that we no longer have any use for. He will provide healing comfort, guidance, protection and ultimately, salvation for the asking. We must only ask for His help—help that is vital to living a joyous, faith-filled life.
So now you know the 2 secrets to starting anew. They are believing that 1) all things are possible with God, and that 2) if we commit our way to the Lord, He will act. Perhaps today is the day you will ask for God’s help, seek Jesus, and find Him, as you strive to get a fresh start.
