ENEMIES DOMESTIC wins again.
Out of 1,350 entries, my latest political thriller placed third for the PenCraft Literary Excellence Award in the Thriller category. This is the 8th award the book has won this year.
My thanks to my wife and alpha reader, Cynthia DeDakis, whose wise counsel helped me get my protagonist, Lark Chadwick, out of many tight spots.
In ENEMIES DOMESTIC, Lark is pregnant, the dad is dead, she's ambivalent about becoming a single mother, but abortion is a crime, and a dictator becomes president. When it was published, the storyline seemed far-fetched. Not so anymore.

The only thing worse is a TV series I've been watching: Tyler Perry's, The Oval. About is awful as it could ever get.
