“Goodness Shines Forth”

 Echoing forth in the still of this evening are thoughts of Thee, Oh Lord! Warm, fond feelings of Your love transcend upon my soul. There is always a newness in Thee. I search Thee out, Oh Lord! Be present this night and touch my heart and soul. I see a wonderful goodness in Your ways. In Your presence I see and feel a great compassion. You, Oh Lord, are filled with this compassion that I see. You are the source of living waters that flow through my soul. There is a great flow of mercy and compassion that flows from within. I verily shall say, “I place my trust in Thee.” I shall consider myself so blessed to be ever in Thy presence. A wonderful strain of melodious angelic sounds I hear this night. There is a goodness and sense of well-being that transcends all throughout this eve. I search in all love to earnestly know of Thy goodness. I pray for a strong will in Thy ways. Let Your goodness show favor on me. In the wholesomeness of Your goodness I see a wondrous God. You are a God who loves all. You are my Savior who unselfishly sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on a cross just for me. A God who created this universe and all that it contains. It is ever in Thy goodness that Your constant care and protection are over all that Thou hast made. I shall compare myself unto a tiny grain of sand that lies upon the shores of Your vast ocean sands. Created by You in all goodness, all is made whole. As a tiny grain of sand I humbly implore Thee and say, “Oh Lord, please do not let me go unnoticed in Thy sight!” May goodness and sweet pleasing thoughts pass through my mind. As I strive to please Thee, Oh Lord, stay at my side. Hold back not Thy blessings from me. In the goodness of Thee, I see a river of over-flowing bountifulness. Along the edges of this river are blessings overflowing. Waves of peace wash up to shore and return over and over again. Sunlit rays reflect and fall on the waves of peace. All is good and there is so much love in all that I see. You are there in all that my eyes do behold. Oh Lord, Thou art good! Help me to know of Thy goodness and be able to imitate it in my life. I so desire to please Thee, for Thou alone art the God of my salvation. I shall continue to write of Thee and set forth all that I feel in my heart. It is good to spend time with Thee. In the goodness of my Lord, I seek a shield of protection and a hedge of love and honor on my life. I say, “Blest be Thy most precious name forever more!” Oh sweet, sweet goodness in the Lord, I hear You echoing forth. A spring of water rushes forth. My soul does stand in need of Thee. Renew in me a clean heart. Goodness is all around. It echoes forth and penetrates deep, deep into the very essence of my soul. Calmly I see a sweet loving, caring Father who has blessed my life with such goodness. I take hold of this goodness and wish all to feel its presence. Use me a vessel, humble in thought to send forth Thy goodness in this world. Reflecting on the presence of Your goodness this night has given me a great hope. A hope of knowing that I am never alone. Thy presence is most welcome and I shall always say, “Goodness shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord.” Blest be the name of He that has shown great mercy on my life. A sweet, sweet goodness of all that You are is ever present. Oh Spirit of Goodness have Thy way in me. Seeking goodness in the Lord, for my life…
