(I wrote this sometime back and then a friend suggested that it SHOULD be forwarded like in the story. Im not sure if it will effect ppl the way my friend imagined but i hope that it does.)

WORDS

“Maybe I’ll forgive you one day, but the day’s not today; for my heart still tears with memories and pain is oozing from the cuts. The tears that squeeze out from my eyelids fall to sear the open wounds and it seems to burn forever. My hurt is not that you left me, nor it’s the wrath of one taken for a wrenched fool. But what’s shaken me from the core is that it was so painless and simple for you to let your hand slip from mine, then our souls and now the memories too. How could your eyes have lied when your hand was on your heart? How could you have told me that I was the colors in the painting of your life and paint mine gray? This is indeed the worst kind of love... when love turns into pain, and pain into anger, and anger into hate and then hate melts into numbness! Maybe I’ll forgive you when the wound heals and the pain peels off leaving behind only scars. Yes, I’ll forgive you but I’ll never forget. For you have strummed a chord of reality in my heart that still vibrates.”
As a writer and a sensitive person by nature, I have often penned down other people’s experiences or feelings in form of poems or stories. I wrote the above piece of writing and uploaded it on a website for writers and received a lot of speculation and reflections. I guess it became one of those forwarded links carried the words to every corner of the world stirring pity and sorrow in some, repentance and realization in others.
That people were actually affected amazed and over-whelmed me more then I could ever imagine. I received a variety of email from people who wanted thank me and share their feelings and experiences after reading what I did written. Somewhere from a chaotic office, a bushed man wrote that he had called the florist and ordered a dozen roses for his wife to show her that he appreciated her being there always. A friend and a new-fangled lawyer called to tell that he had left early that night for the first time in three months to take his fiancé out for dinner. Another person emailed me to tell she was so touched that she was going to email a loved one to tell how the days and nights seemed lonely. A newly married couple going through their first wrangle mailed to tell that they had realized how special their being together was and that love was too sacred and its time too precious to waste on squabbles. Another said that she had read it through her tears because it reminded her of her hurt and made her reflected on her priorities and mistakes once again.
And while all this bonding of hearts took place, I sat smiling and mused how the hurt and anguish of one heart expressed only in mere words had brought other people closer. If only they could have seen the storming passion, the tears and the pain lashing in somebody’s eyes as I had.

touched ... very nice....though sad but ture that sometimes numbness is the only option you have left...once youve given something all you have nobody should expect anymore!!!! after that its all just not worth it.
