Johnny, aged 10, tells of one of his dearest wishes that has yet to come true .
(The author of this story actually met the person of whom I am writing about! :) I met Kelly Clarkson yesterday when she came to our local Wal*Mart, here in Burleson, Texas, and she signed autographs for well over 3,000 people! We [my twin sister and myself] waited in line for 3 hours, but it was well worth the wait! She was one of the sweetest and most down to earth people I have ever met in my life! :) )
My name is Johnny, and I have met a lot of famous people, but there is one in particular that I love (but haven't met her yet!).
I love the show, "American Idol", and last year, a lady from Texas won. Her name was Kelly Clarkson, and she was from Burleson, Texas, which is where one of my aunts live. Anyway, she was on there, and she ended up winning the contest. She was a rather small lady, but boy, did she ever have a big voice; and boy, could she ever sing! WOW! (I have her CD release with her one song, "A Moment Like This". I LOOOOVE that song! :) ) She has a new CD, "Thankful", which just came out yesterday, and I am hoping that I get it. (I would like to have it, anyway!) Kelly seems to be a very nice person, and she is also very beautiful.
I have dreamed of meeting Kelly Clarkson, but I haven't met her in real life (but boy, I would sure love to!). I just heard this morning from my aunt that she was in Burleson, Texas, at the local Wal*Mart, where she was signing autographs for over 3,000 fans, and she signed autographs for each and every fan. My aunt went out there, and she got ME her autograph! She said that Kelly was very sweet, and she was more than happy to sign an autograph for me. My aunt said she was sending me her autograph, and when I heard that, I got all excited! So it is like I met her in person, even though I really haven't (YET!). :)
Maybe that dream will come true for me. I sure do like her. (((SIGH...)))
