A large neon sign in the very top of the window read 'Shanis Jewelry'. The entrance door was propped open with a chair. Just inside the store two large glass display cases sat on opposing sides of the room. White tile adorned the floor with gold and silver wall paper on the surrounding walls. A white wooden door with an electronic lock leads to a rear storeroom. Sounds of activity and voices can be heard from outside the door.
Johnathan knocked hard on the door announcing police arrival at the scene. Someone from within hit the control to the door, a click signified that entry could be made. Medics were on the floor bent over a white male who appeared to be in his sixties. The man's complexion was stone white, his eyes fixated, staring blankly at the ceiling.
