a colaborated work with a photographer from Florida. Narrative bringing to life her work. This was from one of my journals as it was written 24 Oct 2002.
The awakening of the maiden as she rises from her coffin -- the dreams that come within the mind as she has her eyes closed are what puzzled the emotions of the unknown. What is said when she is asleep, that is what is the riddle -- the riddling question that stands in the imaginations of the other side. What she says among the noncoherent chants as they are heard in the dreams she composes in her sleep; the dreams which draw from the imaginations from the other side. Where it is in the dream described of the maiden rising from her cocoon. Which comes in the eyes of the woman asleep -- baring the black rimmed specs similar to the ones that were around during either 1950's or the early 1960's, what stands in her dreams being within the cocoon of her dreams. What is in her dreams being the riddling question as it is there -- the pages as one asked the writer to compose to bring the surfacing images to the life they are, drawing from the imaginations of the other side. Of the thoughts that paints in the bizarre eyes as they are seen through the abstract being. The words as they are inked from the wandering confusion as they are there -- the awaking mind as the imaginations drawn from the other side become within her. From which it comes from her dreaming state -- the dreaming state which lays the Cocooned Maiden. In the eyes as they are seen -- the writer is asked to be the translator; the descriptions of what can be told of the pictures of the Cocooned Maiden. The sleep that is shared with the writer coming of the mind -- that comes within the mirror of the sunless days. Where she wishes to begin to make sense of the dreams that are there -- the dreams describing the Cocooned Maiden. Where she prays that the world stops spinning -- that it comes in the descending fade of sleep. The world as it spins her into the cocoon -- the words that come in the sense of a horror as it dwells, the small hours as they are there before her and the dreams of the writer scribing out the narrative. The winding thoughts tormenting the woman who is behind the camera and the ink bringing it to life. Where I -- as the writer try to bring out the details of the dream as it is foreshadowed the gallery as it is there; a gallery of dreams. The gallery capturing the soul of the Cocooned Maiden. In the being -- the riddling thoughts as they are there looking the portrait of the maiden in the cocoon. Where it is in the riddling dreams as they appear -- the words that are in the mind drawing from the darker surfaces if the dreaming state. Where it is within the altered state of the woman that the dreams come into the vague details; where the cross of confusion is the riddling thought as it is there -- while it is in her nightmare that becomes the surfacing as it is there within the writer's sleep study. Where it is in the dwelling -- the dwelling words as the sleep proceeding into the deeper stages the abstract states. Where it is running in the sleep of the Cocooned Maiden -- the words as they are drawn forth from the pages. Riddling thoughts as they are painting the images in the sleep which descending into the dreams that are left behind -- the description of the vague beings in the sleep of the Cocooned Maiden. As it is the haunting notions of the ghostly cocoon being in the dark -- the thoughts as they are among the sleeping photographer who bares the black rimmed glasses. In the dreams of the photographer who is asleep -- the words that come within the narrative are interpreted from the dreams as they dwell in the writer as well. Riddling of the mind -- the dream as it crawls within the psyche of the two, the dreams foretelling the drawing of three. Where it is in time was the riddling patterns as they dwell -- that comes within the mind of the rapid eye movements where it is in the riddling mind -- the riddling words as they come among the pages within the haunting dreams. Where the sleep is the forever evident -- that in the dreams are not cast in stone; where the dreams describing the presence of the maiden within the cocoon. Deeper within the dream as it is descending into the shadows of the never -- the words as they are within the hell as it is in the sleep of the riddling. There as I am writing this -- I had shared the various nightmares -- describing this as seeing the Cocooned Maiden within the human shaped shroud. Where the cocoon moved from various positions from her side to the burial position, one can only describe the emotions going through her mind -- absolute horror. Nor could I begin to really describe what she was dreaming or what was in her dreams as she was laying within the cocoon. Of what she sees or what she knows -- the riddling question as it being within her dreams as they haunt her very thoughts. Beneath the open cocoon would be her sleeping, within her mind as her eyes were moving faster than her nervous heart flutter. Where the sleep inside -- the dreams as they foretell, of the things that are standing in the reflections of the unknown. Nor the old sermons that I have sat through could prepare me for the imaginations of the other side. Descending from the sleep shared from the photographer -- the artist as the dreaming crawls into the riddling questions that dwell in the imaginations from the other side. From the depths as one sees the sleep from the Cocooned Maiden -- the words that one can find are not enough to describe the dreams from the rapid eye movement. The unknown as it dwells -- the riddling dream as one sees the sleep where one begins and another ends, the fear of coming to far -- the fear of being not able to awaken; scared to sleep because one would descend so far into the dream that one would be afraid that it would be all so real. Where she lays within the mind -- as the fears to sleep descend further down the shadowless spirals. Descending in the mind as one sees the riddling dreams -- watching, wandering in the mind as the Cocooned maiden rests in her slumber. In the riddling thoughts as they remain -- the words as they are in the rapid eye moments of the woman baring the black rimmed glasses; the dreams which weave into the melancholy; being in the sense that one descends deeper in the drugged sleep. The sleep which is induced by the prescriptions given for the mental instability and the inability to sleep. The images of the maiden within the cocoon would be the thing that stands in the dreams as one would begin or proceed in the stages of their sleep. Drifting -- slipping away into the dreams as one cannot describe from the abstract being as the words placed into the surface of the narrative as the ink dries on the pages. The riddling dreams as the thoughts where they are ticking away in the life of sleep -- the mind as they dwell in the reclusive woman in the black-rimmed glasses, the imagination which is there within the dream the sleeping maiden within the cocoon and her are one in the same. Where she shifts positions on her sleeping couch beneath layers of blankets -- and in the dream she is the one struggling to break loose from her prison of a human shaped coffin. Riddling dreams as they are -- within the mind as they appear, the words as they are never seen because one is either asleep or dreaming, drifting between sleep and death. That comes within the mind as it is in the imaginations drifting deeper from the other side; the words as they are penned -- the ink slowly dries and the pages relate from the words as they are written from the imaginations from the other side. Where the maiden within her cocoon lays silent as death begins to dream -- where she is not deceased but slowly dreaming. The riddling mind as it questions of the dreams that stand -- from the questions dwelling of the imaginations from the other side; the dreams that leave one who sleeps riddling for their waking hours. It is in the thoughts and sleep -- the paintings which reflect off the mirrors foretelling the imaginations from the other side. The maiden within the cocoon as she sleeps -- one can only guess to describe what she was dreaming. Where in surreal darkness as it is within the shared dreams as they remain in the eyes of the writer.
This is truly a master piece of work. In the dark corner of one's mind, there is always a dark room there where one goes to dream. There is no limit that this room can lead us to. The dreams are real, and so are the awaken hours. It's a twin world.
'Better Without You'is a compelling narrative that explores the complexities of an affair, hidden secrets, and abuse. It also highlights a daughter's heartfelt journey as she cares for her mother who is battling dementia.
Major League ballplayer Justin Moore is kidnapped from his own ballpark and transported to a foreign land. It might take high-level international negotiations to free him. Or maybe he will take matters into his own hands.
