A family in Burleson, Texas is about to be blessed with a little baby boy from China.
I can't believe that today is THE day: the day where our new child from China will be joining our family!
Our family has been going CRAZY with excitement: we have been busy getting things ready for our little boy, who will be joining us later today! We have his room ready to go, the signs welcoming Xi-Wang Yu are up, and the girls, Heaven, Angel, and Grace, are beyond themselves in sheer excitement: they can't WAIT until their baby brother is here!
We made plans to adopt a second child after our youngest natural daughter, Heaven Joy, was born; we wanted a child from another country, and about two months ago, our adoption caseworker called, to tell us about little Xi-Wang Yu Fang, who is now 13 months old. We have pictures of our new son-to-be, and he is a little butterball; he reminds us of a small Buddha with his crinkly eyes, short, spiky black hair that sticks straight up like a bottlebrush, round, chubby body, and fat belly that pokes out from underneath the undershirt he is wearing. He is absolutely adorable, and we have been counting the weeks, and now days, until he is finally ours!
Xi-Wang Yu Fang is an orphan; he is remarkably healthy, but our caseworker tells us that he is deaf. That is okay because our oldest daughter, Grace Courage, is hearing-impaired, too; so she can help him learn sign language and also help teach him English. Grace is thirteen, but she is very smart, and she always has been. She is our first adopted child; and she was adopted from Romania. We have had Grace since she was four, and she has really blossomed!
Our other two daughters are smart, and they are our two natural children. Angel Miracle is ten, and our youngest, Heaven Joy, is five. They have expressed interest in a little brother, and this was why we decided to try to adopt a little boy this time around. This is why we are going to finally GET our long-awaited little boy, who will be joining our family from China!
Just think: Little Xi-Wang will be joining our family in only a matter of HOURS! We will now have a little boy to call our own! A little BOY!
