"Oh Wondrous God"
As I reflect and quiet my spirit, I find myself in a peaceful setting. Just being in Your presence, Oh Lord, brings an atmosphere of peace.As I search You out, Oh Lord, I feel the need to glorify You as You truly are, a wondrous God.You are the God who is mighty and all-powerful.A shepherd who watches over His flock.I see You as a mighty fortress who shields my very life.A great comforter, You are indeed, calming my spirit to be discerning in all matters.A wondrous Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ, who has shed His blood and sacrificed so that I may be saved.A mighty Deliverer who holds me in the palm of His hand and keeps me from the snares of the evil one.A great Peacemaker who spreads good will and calms the innermost of my soul.You are the wondrous Creator who has perfected all that is created by Thy mighty hand alone.You are the sweet Holy Spirit who enters in and fills my heart and mind with wondrous thoughts.Alpha is Your name, the beginning of all that is.Omega is Your name, the end of all that shall ever be.Three Persons I see, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, all complete in each other,giving evidence that You are One.I see You as the Way leading me onward, in pursuit of Thy Kingdom.I see You as the Truth, there is no unbelief in my heart.I see You as the Life, all is sustained by Your mighty hand alone.You, Oh Lord, my God, are as gentle as a Dove, yet Your reign is mighty and full of power and strength to lead Your people well.Oh Bright Morning Star, You shine out in a world so lost, so unassure of Your presence.I praise Your name and give homage to a wondrous God.Beauty is Yours to behold. You are above all and I see You in all things.I say to Thee,"Oh Lord, my soul does thirst for righteousness; and sweet thoughts of Thee are ever in my mind."Peace is all around and there is a warmth of transcending love upon my soul. "Praise be unto my Lord, my God almighty."
