Waiting on My Angel
"I'm looking out for miracles and dreams, for as far as I can see. I'm waiting on an angel to carry me away."
Will I always be waiting on an angel to carry me away? Why can't I be that angel for someone else? With each life that I touch, each smile that I encourage, with each sadness that I help brush away, my wings begin to grow more and I rise a little higher. I have come to realize that sometimes it's not so important to have someone special in your life but it's important to be someone special in someone else's life.
This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
