As the director of Novus Medical Detox, we see the wreckage caused by prescription drugs on a daily basis. As Ms. McGinnes so clearly points out, addiction causes grief not only for the addicted person but also for the family. This "monster" sucks away retirement funds and bankrupts the families of the addicted ones who want only to help their addicted children.
