The Corporation X Business Plan is about translating the works of Poje into profitable big budget films. The Business Plan provides the marketing vision for the reader.
Corporation X is also the vehicle to promote the principles of The Byzantine Pineapple on a global basis.
Painless is estimated to be a two-and-half-hour movie. How is this determined? The table on page 97 provides the timing estimate, which builds up to the two-and-half-hour time.
This table follows the book very closely. Segment 15 (“The First Blackout”) is added, and there is an additional thirty-second “Battle of the Mermaids” that is ready to be added for the climax. Everything else can be followed along by reading the book and following the chart.
Or one can contact the author for a copy of the screenplay. While the sequencing parallels the book, the dialogue is more expanded in the screenplay. The ability to explain certain feelings via prose in a book needs rearranging for visual, and the dialogue expansion is one way to accomplish that.
Of course, the screenplay and preproduction storyboards are in many ways like the pirate’s code from The Pirates of the Caribbean movies. It’s more of a guideline as the cast and crew bring the product to life. The key is educating everyone as to what can and can’t change as the two sequels are set up in the first product.
In case the concept of guidelines is questioned, the author suggests that one research the productions of the great Sergio Leone. For example, the author first looked to Sergio Leone’s films for the screenplays to learn from. It turns out that the formal screenplays just simply don’t exist for the Leone films (unless the author just missed out during researching). Instead, the documentation for a script that was used was more of a guideline than a 100 percent gospel script.
The author also has created three hours of prototype DVD material that can also be used to educate any interested/involved parties about the Less trilogy. The first hour covers the backstory that is brought to life through the Less trilogy. The second hour covers Painless as a movie. The third hour covers the sequels Blindless and Timeless. The DVDs use still images with voice-over, as well as select soundtrack songs worked in.
Speaking of the soundtrack, the timing schedule has letters A to BB noted for select film segments. These letters note twenty-eight different songs that are worked into the production. For this publication, the cross-reference list is omitted, but the author can supply the information to interested parties as necessary.
