With this collection of photos a Spiel on what is commonly referred to as a photo essays presented.
The photos are not meant to embrace a singular, guiding theme. However they mostly have a locality in common: Upstate New York. A region appreciated for its rolling hills with farms and forests, while economic marginality exists beyond all too many doorsteps.
