This is a sweet romance that captures the elegance and quiet courtship of a century ago, with every historical detail richly imagined. A quick read, like a sweet Christmas cookie. It's not too long that you can't read it in a few minutes, but long enough to be satisfied that Miriam's journey has a happy ending.
