A part time preacher, full time farmer in the 1800s comes home and finds his wife and two sons murdered. Something inside of him snaps. He puts his Bible down and picks up a six gun. She is billed as the fastest lady alive with a six gun. The two of them team up and exact fear wherever they go. The outlaws soon learn they can run, but they can't hide.

A woman happens upon him laying in the desert almost dead. She too is after the same band of desperados for murdering her husband. She is billed as the fastest lady alive with a sixgun and helps him recuperate. They team up and soon become a duo that cringes fear in the hearts of these bandits.

It was a hot sultry afternoon that fateful summer day in August. The stranger pulled his pocket watch out of his leather vest pocket. It was
One PM just outside Yuma, Arizona. As the stranger passed by
the front gates of Yuma Territorial Prison he glanced over to take a
quick look. Just looking in that direction gave him an uneasy feeling
knowing there were men in there who would never get out alive.
He knew from the many stories told to him how death lurked just
beyond those walls. It was said many who went in there to serve out
their sentences and pay their debts to society, never came back out
alive again. The cemetery in the back of the prison attested to that fact.
It is true some inmates did die from Typhoid and Smallpox because of
the unsanitary conditions, while others died from fights with other
inmates or from brutal abuse from the guards.
“I would rather be dead than be locked up in that hell hole. If there is
such a place as hell on earth, then that must be the place,” the stranger
said to his horse as though the animal could understand what he was
saying.
He was glad the gray dingy walls were now fading behind him. Just to
look at that place sent goose bumps up and down his spine. He had
never been in jail himself and could only imagine how God-forsaken
that place must really be. He heard many stories about how cruel and
inhumane the prisoners were treated in that notorious place. Some
even compared it to the prisoner of war camp at Andersonville,
Georgia during the Civil War.
If the stories were true, and he believed they were because many
people told the exact same story, then some of the guards should be
put on trial and if they were found guilty, be put in prison right with
the rest of the inmates.
The guards insisted there was no unusual punishment meted out.
Whenever an inmate broke the prison rules he was punished accordingly.
The stranger recalled talking to an ex convict not long ago who spent
three years in there. His crime was committing adultery. The man told
him of the various ways the guards punished inmates within the prison
walls to set an example for the other inmates.
