Eastern College is about to launch a $500 million fund-raising campaign, and Steve has been hired to handle the campaign's public relations. It's a full-time job, though only for a short term. He gets permission from his new boss to bring Rochester to work every day.
There's a murder during the launch party for the campaign, and quickly Rochester is nose to the ground in search of clues. I'm still playing with character names (thing of songs when you see Jose Canusi and Juan Tanamera) and I'm still having fun writing about a smart but wild golden retriever.
