When Derek comes to Baby Jamie's class as a guest for the day for show and tell things go awry. A new kid named Jack, an awkward, stuttering boy, joins the class, Baby Jamie befriends him. Derek become jealous and together the three of them must learn that being friends with one person doesn't mean you can't be friends with others as well.

This is a very well written story and great read for any classroom. Baby Jamie herself is an amazing 6 year old whose insight into the human condition, powered by her own disability, is wonderfully refreshing. These children will make you laugh and cry as you read their tale to your own and I certainly recommend that you do so.
