Charlie stared at the parchment. All of his ideas were rubbish. No wonder his dad always looked so worried. It was a hard job being an inventor.
To begin with he'd started small. He'd got the idea from the bottles standing on his mum's kitchen shelf. When you wanted to keep things inside a bottle you put a cork in it, so why couldn't you do the same if you wanted to keep things inside a dinosaur. Excitedly Charlie had begun to sketch out the workings of a brand new machine, one that would put corks into dinosaur's bottoms and keep the stinky steggy plops and bronty bottom burps safe inside. He'd got quite far with the idea when a few problems began to bother him.
What happens when they fart? He thought. Corks would be flying out of dinosaur's bottoms here there and everywhere, and that could be dangerous. You'd be walking down the street when all of a sudden a dinosaur would let rip and before you knew it you were being shot at by a farty dino bottom cork.
This book is funny and I would add this book to my collection and you should to. this book will be the star of the show at bed time with
your kids I know mine would like it.
