NEW EDITION.

Luke is hitching from Scotland to Dorset. Losing his virginity is not foremost in his thoughts but continually crops up when he meets the likes of the lusting Ruth, butch biker Tex and the delightful and delicious scout Dominic, as he heads ever southward, his vivid imagination conjuring a variety of delightful sexual scenarios.

Reaching his destination, reality soon hits home when he encounters Taran, and love engulfs him. But Luke is hiding a secret and he knows time is running out.

Ken Smith specializes in racy stories set in the British Royal Navy, including his best-selling novel 'Brad' and the superb 'Skin'.

A recent review called him one of Britain's finest authors of gay erotica.

Excerpt

She was pretty for sure, over twice my age, and with flowing black hair. A motherly smile greeted my own boyish face, which also smiled in gratitude when she asked, in an extremely posh and polite voice, “Would you like a lift, my boy? Where are you headed?”

I thanked her politely. “I’m heading down South. Dorset. But I’d be grateful if you can take me as far as you can.”

“Dorset! That’s a long way from Scotland for a young boy to be hitchhiking on his own,” she suggested with some concern, beckoning me into the passenger seat with a nail-varnished finger. “I’m not going that far.” She giggled then smiled seductively. “But I’ll be able to take about fifty miles off your journey.”

“That’ll only leave me a few hundred, then.” I laughed, making light of it.

“You have family in Dorset? Beautiful countryside.”

“Yes. I love it down there. It’s so peaceful and pretty.”

The car moved swiftly into its highest gear and sped dangerously fast through the winding lane, sucking warm air through the open windows and sunroof.

“My husband and I had a wonderful holiday in Weymouth some years back. He’s a sailor as well, you know. A commander. I expect you’ll be one, one day,” she patronised without meaning to. “Commander Tamworth. I don’t suppose you’d know him?” She interrupted herself with a laugh. “Of course you wouldn’t. I see you are from a different ship. What’s your name?”

My face flushed slightly and a little shiver of apprehension shook my body. “It’s John. Thank you for giving me the lift, Mrs Tamworth. You’re very kind.”

Mrs Tamworth smiled. “John! What a coincidence. That’s my husband’s name. I always call him Johnny, but he doesn’t really like me calling him that.” She giggled again. “Do you like being called Johnny or John? John’s so blunt, I always think.”

“Johnny’s fine, thank you.”

“That’s settled, then. I shall call you Johnny. I expect your dear mother always calls you Johnny?” A hand reached over and began rubbing my knee.

I smiled back, my face slightly redder than before because of the unexpected contact. “She does.”

Mrs Tamworth chatted about this and that, mostly navy stuff and strapping young sailors. She asked me to call her Ruth. I continued to call her Mrs Tamworth.

Ruth flipped down the sunshield and checked herself in the mirror fastened on its rear, sucking her lips together as if she’d just applied lipstick. “I expect you have a pretty girlfriend in Dorset, don’t you? And that’s why you are willing to travel so far, and on your own?”

I fidgeted in my seat, clasping my sweaty palms together and placing them between my thighs. “Yes, I do. She’s very pretty.”

“Ah, bless you. To be so young and so in love,” sighed the Commander’s wife. She smiled again, stroking my leg a good deal longer and more intimately than before.

A brief silence followed. It was not long enough.

“Are you on leave for long or just the weekend?” asked Mrs Tamworth, moving into another conversation.

“About a month. We’ve just come back from the Far East.”

“The Far East! That’s where my husband has just set sail for. How wonderful. And a whole month alone with your lovely young lady. She must be thrilled!” Mrs Tamworth excited, ruffling the back of her hair and dropping her palm yet again onto my knee.

My body trembled at receiving yet more bodily contact and my armpits began dripping sweat.

Mrs Tamworth, not at all nervous and very aware of what she was doing, sent some seductive music into the car. It sprang from the speakers, causing me to jump. “Strong, handsome, young man like you, your young lady must think herself very lucky indeed,” she continued to seduce.

“Mrs Tamworth. Could you stop please!” I called out, my tone desperate.

Ruth coughed slightly. “What is it, Johnny?”

“Those crossroads we've just passed. I’m pretty sure the road on the left will take me onto the one I’m searching for.”

“Are you sure, Johnny? It looks like a pretty deserted road to me.”

“Yes. I’ve done this trip before. I’m sure the last driver took me that way.”

Ruth gave a heavy sigh and rubbed my thigh almost into my crotch. “Well, if you are sure, my dear boy, then I must sadly let you go.” She brought the car to a halt. I hoped she didn’t hear my sigh of relief. I began to gather my belongings. She thought for a while. “What am I saying? I can’t possibly leave you here, miles from anywhere. It will be dark very soon and the air has a nasty chill. No, I cannot possibly allow you to hitch in the dark. No, you must spend the night with me.”

The engine purred back into life. Ruth's foot stepped on the gas. We were off, to where I dare not think!
