A spiritual fantasy in which Spacey, a little mouse, volunteers on a NASA space voyage hoping to find God. The ship lands by accident in Africa where with the help of some children and the creatures he finds that God lives inside of us, not in outer space.

So when Spacey heard that NASA was looking for mice and other animal volunteers to go on a space mission, he signed up.
“Why did you do that?” his mother asked. “It could be dangerous.”
“I want to find the way to God. I want to be his friend and ask him stuff.”
“Why can’t you be satisfied with what you already know – like your other friends?”
“I don’t want to be like them. All they ever think about is I-Pods and tech games. I’m going on an adventure and find stuff out.”

When Spacey the Mouse hears that NASA is looking for mice and other volunteers, he signs up for the mission. His is no ordinary mission. He wants to find God and “ask him stuff.” But instead of Cape Canaveral, the spaceship accidentally lands in Africa. Spacey and his fellow passenger, Dog, split up to find the way home, which is when the real adventure begins. In a tale that is reminiscent of Rudyard Kipling’s ”Just So” stories, Spacey overhears children’s singing a circle song that deepens his understanding. He learns further lessons from other animals he befriends on the way. A lovely tale about how God is inside all of us.
