It didn’t take Jenna Dowery long to realize that Daniel MacKenzie in the flesh was nothing like the sensual, tender-hearted Scotsman that filled her dreams every night.

If she had trusted her first instincts and stayed as far away from Daniel MacKenzie as possible, she would never be in this hopeless situation.

Her grandfather’s request had seemed simple enough – warn Daniel MacKenzie of the imminent explosion and make her way back home. The task, however, turns out to be anything but simple.

Daniel learned at a young age not to trust any woman, especially the beautiful green-eyed lass that arrives in town telling her crazy tales. Making him feel things, he never wished to feel. When she begins speaking of disasters yet to come, he suspects the woman to be either insane or a German spy, and much too tempting for his well-guarded heart. Yet, on the morning of December 6th, he realizes the truth and races against time to find Jenna and avoid his forewarned death.
