Hey, Jezebel, (her name)
hoots the ulotrichous old timer,
winking a cataract eye
at the red-haired woman;
tongue traveling over
lips of dried wine,
as he fumbles with his
safety pin zipper.
Baggage, (her name)
agree two Christian ladies,
under clean bonnets
and dirty minds, while
clutching the good book
to fallen breasts;
assuring them safe passage
to heaven.
Oye Baby, (her name)
"How much?"
whispers a pot-valiant domino player;
sharkskin pants contrasting
with netted tee-shirt,
proudly divulging his nipples.
Mama, (her name)
"Look at the picture
I drew in school today,"
boasts the best dressed,
best fed kid on the block,
as he escapes a bear hug embrace,
and they both climb the stairs for
home,
singing.
