After developing the book manuscript for "Archangel", I adapted a screenplay which finished as a finalist at the 2013 Horror Screenplay Festival.

 KATRINA DECKER, a beautiful Boston homicide detective, is stunned by the savage crime scenes suddenly thrust upon her city.  Each massacred individual has three strange symbols carved into their bodies.  BOB JOHNSON, the senior crime-scene forensics pathologist, contends it may possibly be the work of a vampire; however, Katrina scoffs at his theory.  When she arrives at another gruesome crime scene she notices ANGELO DEMEETRI, an individual she observed at a previous crime scene, and immediately considers him as a suspect.

 Angelo is an enigma to Katrina, including his ancient Chinese Manservant, CHEN.  She conducts research trying to uncover information about Angelo, but what she discovers is information of similar crime scenes found all over the world.  And at a recent crime scene in Prague, weapons-grade plutonium was detected.

 Meanwhile, Angelo and Chen continue their life-long hunt for the creature named ABADDON, the vampiric demon son of Lucifer that is responsible for all the murders.  He is now armed with a plutonium suitcase bomb and has an army of walking dead zombies that protect him and do his bidding. Abaddon’s scheme is to plant the device where the visiting Pope will soon be speaking, and not only kill him and all the religious leaders surrounding him, but destroy the entire eastern seaboard.

 As Katrina desperately struggles to find the killer she is unaware that Angelo is ARCHANGEL whose sole mission is to hunt and destroy mankind’s true enemy.  When circumstances bring Angelo, Chen and Katrina together in the hunt for Abaddon, she finds herself falling in love with Angelo.  But as soon as she discovers the true identity of Angelo, Abaddon commits an unspeakable crime that Angelo fails to prevent.  Katrina turns on Angelo, despising him for not stopping the terrible slaughter.  Disgusted with himself Angelo walks away from his destiny.

 Then Abaddon’s secret lair is finally located, and Katrina brings an entire police force to a huge dark cavern where an enormous battle ensues.  Out of nowhere, Archangel and Chen arrive to aid in the ferocious battle between police and zombies, but Abaddon manages his escape.  After the battle ends, Angelo detects the presence of the bomb and soon discovers its location within Boston’s TD Garden, along with Abaddon.

 It is the ultimate good versus evil - as in the great Coliseum of Rome - when Archangel and Abaddon and his army of zombies fight a mighty battle within the arena of the TD Garden.  Packed with over twenty thousand people, including the Pope, a nuclear bomb ticks away the seconds to massive destruction as Angelo and Abaddon fight to the death. Suddenly, Archangel realizes that he has been wrong, and the true enemy of all mankind is not among them...but it comes.
