First and foremost, as the scripture above goes, it is my season to share this – it is time.
It is CHRISTmas 2013 as I am wrapping up this book. It is a tough one with both parents passing away this year; this will be my first CHRISTmas without my ‘Mommy and Daddy’. I had them for 58 years of my life, which makes me pretty fortunate in comparison to many. It is on my heart on so many levels. My loss of them has much to do with the reason and purpose for this book being written at this time. As I struggle in pursuing the usual laughter and enjoyment of the Season, it makes me realize I am being caught up and overwhelmed with my human relationships. Instead of the ONE I should be focusing on…
To begin specifically focusing us, this book is about an amazing realization arrived at over the course of a few critical years. This was after years of well… turbulent times in my ‘unrealized’ mode.
Right now you might be thinking, ‘what did he say?’ Stick with me.
This purpose & introduction along with the first chapter will take some concentration on your part. Find a quiet moment and place; then digest what this is all about my friend.
This writing is primarily about YOU; but also about all of us humans – the people of this world of ours. My intent here is to share a dynamic uncovered along my journey; a very specific and central aspect of life leading to who I ‘am’ now. This is all about a reality that changed my life in extremely GOOD ways. I totally hope you will internalize the message here and come to the peace of mind that I have about this ‘realization’.
Let me be clear here. This is about my faith, story and beliefs. However this is NOT about me preaching at you or trying to cause you to buy into my beliefs. Well, sort of I guess it is (GRIN). It is about my God, Jesus Christ and the deity in which I do indeed believe.
My God is the God, which is what I believe. I appreciate others have other gods; this message is for you as well I believe. Let me put it this way: for any learning, personal change or take-away to occur here, it is critical that you are someone who accepts there is ‘something or someone bigger’ than YOU and I and the rest of us humans of this planet.
