Spider Webb, aka Kenneth Rice, began playing drums at an early age in his home town of Detroit. He gained prominence as a studio drummer, and was hired on the spot by the lte great recording artist King Curtis. He was the drummer for Harry Belefonte from 1969 through 1972, playing in the main room at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas as well as while on national tours. Spider has recorded with Freddie Hubbard, Robert Palmer, The Temptations, David Clayton-Thomas, Aretha Franklin, Herb Alpert , Grover Washington, Jr. and Hugh Masekela among others. This books tells it all.
