Yooung Tramp leaves a home where young human babies are taking up all the attention and the sound waves.
He is found and adopted by a couple who already have another dog, Amigo, and a laarge cat named Hippopotamus.
In his words he describes his interpretation of human actions and of his own curiousity.
The last chapter of the book is written by Tramp's human "Dad", and is dedicated to the work of the rescue groups that save the lives of abandoned pets.
This is not a children's book.
