A good relationship is comprised of trust, acceptance, communication, and a genuine liking of the other person and is willing to compromise at times. There must be recognition of the other as a separate person from us, with his or her own needs and values and choices. Good relationships are not about constant closeness or constant sharing and agreement. These attributes can quickly become suffocating and boring; one reason to have relationships is to challenge ourselves into growth and development. We are allowed to express feelings, make mistakes, experiment, take risks, and be nurtured along the way. It also provides stimulation and sometimes a good "kick in the pants". It has also taught us that the purpose is to get our needs met through the other. No one can love you the way you want to be loved; no one else can fill you needs
All my life I've felt this uncontrollable urge to write. Not necessarily to "be a writer" but just to write to put things into words on paper.I decided to make this a career, every morning I sit down, do some stream-of-consciousness writing in an old notebook, and try to piece together a short personal essay.
However, when it comes to trying to write something of substance, I totally draw a blank. All of my ideas (however few they are) seem really contrived and dull. I can come up with a good start for a story but not an ending. It's not motivation that's my problem, it's inspiration. Everything I have written creatively has been inspired by things people have said to me in conversation.

I think love is an act of will in the sense that it demands action and commitment by two people in order to continue and grow.
If we consider a more general kind of love as compassion, I think that the act of will that is required is that we deliberately remove any impediments (culture and upbringing among them) to our recognition of our own compassion. I think that task is monumental but may be the most human act of will that a human can make.
Then we will not be saying love but loving, for love is what essentially exists in human heart, so to speak, independent of human choice of will or any act of determination. This is same as truth exits beyond human will, as something that human intellect seeks and uses will for the purpose. Loving and not love therefore is an act of will, living and not life is what is within human jurisdiction of will and determination; life is given but living is what we make.
However, if you mean loving when you say love then why loving is an act of human will then answer is that there is no purpose living if not for love in one form or the other. The best of our beliefs assure us the life in essence is based upon divine truth, and it has a purpose. Love is human manifestation of that truth and loving the best we like to do in life.
