ANCESTOR’S IDIOM is a unique artistic collaboration that gives insight to the unspoken knowledge, thoughts, and emotions that our ancestors have experienced through their journey from our True Origins as Creators of new, uncharted territory within all forms of expression to where we are today as paradigm shifters of consciousness and way of sustaining our heritage.

The artistry channels the soul messages that the original ancestor are trying to relay as one unified message through our respective art forms.   This is not about the “historical” Journey of our ancestors but the Internal Unspoken Journey of their souls experience and the evolution of consciousness that they continue to spark within us today.

“Their adversity has made us more determined to move past survival back into our rightful status as Sovereign  beings.”  This series inspires one to contemplate with reverence, the transcendental message of the African and  African American and Native American ancestors who’ve come before us, and will come again after us, the truth of  our history and the need for humanity to transcendence the consciousness of physical, psychological, social, or  material enslavement, to again embrace our divine right of choice to self govern is the only way to heal the future  generations”.

Excerpt

At this moment, what burns within my spirit is the desire to beseech you to question everything presented in life and to remember…
Question the institutionalization of our people and its predesigned propagandized purpose for us and the human race…
Breathe your intuitions, trust the wisdom of your ancestor’s vision
Their original ways and their commonsense roots…

Learn the laws and the systems of this land, this life, of man, and the Nature of each of them…
Innerstand and know these laws in order to live your creative purpose, and to master your life…
Make sovereign your family’s future and that of your community…
Never forget that we have a responsibility to our people.
We are our brother’s keepers, just as Malcolm, Martin, Marcus, and Maya Angelo and more have been.
Hold no fear in speaking the truth of life as you know it to be…
Hold onto your highest vision of success and invest in the right-us-ness of our people…
Whatever life brings you and wherever you may be
Remember…
Our people’s examples of storming the gates of the powers that be
through their collective voice, their collective stance and their desire for peace…
Continue to put pen to paper, and without hesitation speak truth, to any who will give you the time to.
Inspire your brothers, your sisters, your pastors, your teachers to believe in the value of your worth and the power of your generation to make your community a better place
One love at a time

“MAY THE WISDOM OF THE ANCIENTS BE THE MEDICINE IN YOUR DREAMS”
