Chesapeake Visions is the fourth volume in the Chesapeake Heritage Series. The series starts at the colonization of the Maryland peninsula. Each volume involves a woman from the same family and each woman lives in the same plantation at some point in her life.
While this is historical fiction, many of the situations used in the story are based on true reports of incidents from the first indentured servants arrived until the end of the Civil War.
