"DULCET"

     DANNA MCCLEARY is an 18-year-old Austin resident who has dreamt of becoming a singer since she was much younger. She has celebrity parents, and has wanted to taste fame for herself. She dreams of becoming famous with her vocal talent. Unfortunately, one day, Danna returns home to find out that not only the most part of their fortune was stolen, but that Danna’s grandmother NORMA was murdered in the process. Now, the careers of Danna’s parents are halted, since the murderer threatened to kill Danna should they ever resume their jobs. Facing a predicament of the likes Danna has never faced, she slowly lets go of her arrogance and pride, preparing to become a singer to help her crippled family.
     Now that she’s graduated from high school, her older sister ROSE MCCLEARY, a fashion model, arrives to take Danna to New York, where she will meet TERRENCE ELLISON, the CEO of Sony BMG. She also meets NELSON REEVES, who, after hearing her voice, agrees to become her agent and personal manager. Danna manages to make a good impression on Mr. Ellison and the staff of Columbia Records, after which Danna signs a contract.
     One day in Central Park, Danna’s life changes forever when she meets a young man, NIKKOLAS FRANCO. Danna learns he is an exiled singer, who went into hiding after his whole family was murdered. Danna’s and Nikkolas’s encounter mark the beginning of their destinies. At the same time they hope and yet don’t know they’ll end up together. Danna and Nikkolas fall in like from the moment they see each other. With time they grow to love each other, despite the adversities that confront them.
     Danna begins her career with little self-confidence. She knows she has a gift for music, but believes it is a difficult career to attain. She sees it as too much of a commitment. Rose, Audrey, and her friends help Danna believe in her, and to have confidence. Danna finally achieves her dream when she debuts at Zilker Park in Austin, gaining fans and making a successful start into the career of her dreams.
     After the Chairman of the Board of Sony Productions, HOWARD CHAMBERS, announces that he will buy the deserted, former house of the Franco family, Nikkolas decides it’s time to rise again. To everyone’s surprise, two more people come to his aid—the very people Nikkolas had least expected to help him at this point.
     Danna and Nikkolas soon find themselves targets of an awoken evil that they have not faced for years. They learn the identity of the man who caused so much pain in their lives. Can Danna and Nikkolas stop him while protecting their loved ones, lives, and young love?
