This book was written for those who truelly love God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. However, it was also written for those who do not yet know, or understand God, or holiness, or what it means to be saved. It was written for those who do not know how to experience the wonderful fullness of God's grace in their lives, but really want and need to. Finally, it was written in order to bring glory to God in the name of Jesus, and I pray that it blesses, encourages, and enriches the lives of everyone who reads it.

Dear Jesus,
I love you. As I lie here resting in your peace and meditating on your word, I am reminded of all those years that I spent without you. For so long I searched for you…for a love as strong and precious as yours is. I searched for your presence and your strong security, which I needed in a relationship that I could depend on. I searched for someone who would never leave me or get tired of me and who would never decide that we are over. I searched for someone who would never break my heart.
There have been others before you who pretended to love me. There were those who I thought that I loved and whom I thought was my destiny. I spent many days with them, playing and laughing, and living a lie. They were always there when I needed them… those false idols. However, they were only filling my fleshly desires while my soul remained empty.
